Bligh Resources Limited (ASX: BGH) has intersected gold at the Wonder North deposit at its Bundarra Gold Project located north of Leonora in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia (Figure 1).

Highlights from the drilling program include:


  • 10 metres at 8.72g/t gold from 301 metres and 2 metres at 12.31g/t gold from 334 metres
  • 31 metres at 3.56g/t gold from 294 metres including 9 metres at 7.18g/t gold from 296 metres



The six drillhole reverse circulation drilling program targeted extensions of mineralisation to the northwest of and at depth of the existing open pit at the Wonder North deposit.


The Bundarra Gold Project lies within the Norseman-Wiluna greenstone belt of the Archean Yilgarn Craton approximately 60km north of Leonora in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia.


The company is evaluating the probability to further extend the defined high grade gold mineralisation beneath the Wonder North deposit and is subsequently planning its next drilling program.
