Explaurum Limited (ASX: EXU) – $0.042
03 May 2016
Explaurum Limited (ASX: EXU) has received the first batch of results from its reverse circulation drilling program at the Tampia Gold Project located approximately 300km east of Perth in Western Australia.
Drilling highlights include:
- 8.0 metres at 8.96g/t gold from 68.0 metres
- 7.0 metres at 5.99g/t gold from 128.0 metres
- 13.0 metres at 2.49g/t gold from 37.0 metres
The drillholes spread across the Tampia gravity anomaly intersected mineralisation from near surface to a depth of 128 metres confirming the association between the gravity high, mafic gneiss and gold mineralisation. Drilling results also confirm the presence of mineralisation outside the main zones identified suggesting a structural model of stacked zones of mineralisation from the surface to the base of the mafic gneiss at depth.

A total of 28 reverse circulation drillholes for 2,440 metres have been drilled (Figure 1). The drilling program has been extended by approximately 600 metres and is designed to test gravity features to the north of the known resource area. The company estimates that the drilling program will be completed by mid-May.
