Gryphon Minerals Limited (ASX: GRY) has received results from reconnaissance sampling at the Gourma Joint Venture Project with Boss Resources Limited (ASX: BOE) in eastern Burkina Faso (Figure 1).

Multiple gold surface geochemical anomalies have been identified through bulk leach extractable gold stream, rock chip, soil and shallow auger sampling. Highlights include:
- Auger drill samples up to 27.5g/t gold from depth of 4 metres
- Rock chip samples up to 19.7g/t gold
- Surface soil geochemical results up to 4.60g/t gold
The Project covers the entire Gourma Belt which is host to the Gourma Shear Zone. The region is known for gold mineralisation with over 25Moz of gold discovered to date.
The company is continuing with its low cost exploration approach and has commenced phase two activities focussing on the newly identified targets to further define areas ready for drill testing.
