Hot Chili Limited (ASX: HCH) – $0.140 (+4%)

19 Feb 2015

Hot Chili Limited (ASX: HCH) has completed a Scoping Study that is set to significantly boost the Productora Copper Project located in Chile.

The independent Scoping Study found the addition of an oxide operation is attractive as a complement to the existing Productora Copper Project.

The Pre-Feasibility Study will now include a heap leach operation followed by a Solvent Extraction Electrowinning circuit with the potential to produce 8,000 tonnes to 10,000 tonnes of cathode copper production annually for six to eight years. The annual copper-in-concentrate production is estimated to be 45,000 tonnes to 55,000 tonnes.

The company expects to deliver a Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve upgrade estimate for the Productora Pre-Feasibility Study this year that will include oxide mineral resources and the addition of the recent Alice Porphyry copper discovery (Figure 1).
