Intermin Resources Limited (ASX: IRC) has submitted a Project Management Plan to the Department of Mines and Petroleum for the advancement of the Teal Gold Project located in Western Australia (Figure 1).

The approval of the Plan will be the final key statutory permit for the Teal Project following approval to mine granted in 2014. The Plan considers safety risks associated with the various stages of the mining operation including construction, development, production and closure.
The Teal Gold Project will be a conventional open pit mine with a simple site layout. The mine has a current life of eight months.
The Project is located approximately 12km north west of Kalgoorlie with a ready workforce, existing transport and toll milling infrastructure.
Once mining commences, the company will direct funds to exploration activities with the aim of extending the mine life.
