Tawana Resources NL (ASX: TAW) – $0.270

Tawana Resources NL (ASX: TAW) has intersected lithium from extensional drilling at the Bald Hill Project located 50km southeast of Kambalda in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.


Significant lithium intercepts include:


  • 35.0 metres at 1.35% Li2O from 71.0 metres including 10.0 metres at 1.62% Li2O, 6.0 metres at 1.61% Li2O and 6.0 metres at 1.75% Li2O
  • 12.0 metres at 1.16% Li2O from 95.0 metres and 11.0 metres at 1.96% Li2O from 131.0 metres including 5.0 metres at 3.14% Li2O


Recent drilling comprised a further 115 resource and sterilisation reverse circulation drill holes that totalled 13,652 metres (Figure 1). Results from the recent drilling will be included to the initial resource estimation that is expected to be completed by the end of April 2017 along with the Feasibility Study.

The Bald Hill Mine is owned by Singapore Exchange listed Alliance Mineral Assets Limited with Tawana earning a 50% interest.
